Ultrarat rule. My original drawing idea for the band featured a rat which went against the only instruction Max gave me for the artwork (not to draw a rat). That’ll teach me to read a message just after waking up and not re-read again before beginning a drawing.

I high anticipated watching Ultrarat play live after my friend, JTA, a punk connoisseur, gave them high praise saying they are the best band in Montreal. They’re definitely one of the best live bands I’ve seen, they absolutely destroy. I would happily have watched them play their set 3 more times that night. Afterwards I very drunkenly ranted to Max about how much I loved Ultrarat. I was stoked when he asked me to draw up a shirt design.
